Mychal’s Learning Place produces events throughout the year that fundraise to support the critical programs and services provided to youth and young adults with developmental disabilities. Special Events also create opportunities for the community to see just how capable, able, and talented all of our participants are and how much of an asset they are to the community. The California Great Santa Stroll is part of a world competition for the most Santas gathered in one location. The festive event is a 5K run and walk for all ages and abilities. Even our 4 legged friends can join the fun of the walk and costume contests! Join hundreds of Santas as we stroll the strand from Hermosa Beach to Manhattan Beach and back.
