Max is kind, compassionate and positive. He loves music, especially Hank Williams Sr. He enjoys activities like playing soccer, baseball, and attending Lakers and Dodgers games – he always brings his enthusiasm and positive attitude wherever he goes. Max is always ready to lend a helping hand, and his dedication to his loved ones and community truly shines. At Mychal’s Café, Max’s positivity and willingness to help with any task is appreciated, and we are so proud to celebrate him as Employee of the Month.
Max has shown so much growth at Mychal’s Café. His mom Suzanne, shared, “Mychal’s has been instrumental in guiding Max towards independence while working with others. Max has gained a great deal of personal pride working in the Cafe.” Max has taken on a variety of tasks, from food prep to bussing tables and serving customers. He also recently learned how to cook on the stove and made his first scrambled eggs. Max is passionate about cleaning, one of his favorite activities is wiping down tables. Café Manager Paloma notes, “Max is a genuine joy to have in the café. He is always helpful and positive.”
Looking ahead, Max is excited to continue growing at Mychal’s and learning new skills that will help him build even greater independence. His job at the café is important to him and has given him a sense of accomplishment. We are so proud of everything Max has accomplished and look forward to watching him continue to thrive at Mychal’s.
