Sara is bright, compassionate, and brings positivity wherever she goes. She has a deep love for animals, music, art, and dance. Sara’s passion for animals shines through in her participation in the Rain or Shine Equine program where she cares for the horses by brushing, feeding, and walking them. This experience not only builds her confidence but also strengthens her connection with the animals she loves.
Since joining Mychal’s, Sara’s social skills have blossomed. She’s become an open and welcoming friend to everyone she meets. Sara also participated in the Finding Nemo play where she played Dory. Her mom shared that the play helped improve her concentration, reading, and memory skills as she learned and memorized her lines, all while boosting her confidence. In addition to her acting achievements, Sara has developed valuable baking skills through Mychal’s after-school cooking classes. These classes have not only taught her the fundamentals of baking but have also prepared her for her new role at both Mychal’s Bakery and Mychal’s Café. Sarah will be job training at the bakery on Wednesday and Friday’s and job training at the cafe on the weekends. Through her time at Mychal’s, Sara has gained essential skills for working in the kitchen and developed the confidence and focus that will help her thrive, whether working in the kitchen or in the front of house.
Sara has big dreams for the future. She’s passionate about animals and hopes to work in the animal care field. She’s also very interested in cosmetology. Right now, Sara’s goals include graduating high school and taking classes at El Camino. She’s excited to continue developing her skills and gaining hands-on experience. We’re so proud of everything Sara has accomplished so far and we can’t wait to see what the future holds for her!
